Leading aging and health policy advocates will present their findings and viewpoints regarding aging and health care policy during a divided Congress. Issues will include behavioral health, social isolation, health care workforce, telehealth, hospice policy, elder justice and nursing home care, home and community-based services, and Medicare and Medicaid. The group will discuss what progress has been made during the 118th Congress and what is still possible in the election year ahead.

Learning Objectives:

After the session, participants will be able to describe what has happened in aging and health care policy during the first session of the 118th Congress and explain what may still be accomplished and why.
Participants will have a good sense of the most significant challenges and opportunities faced by aging and health care policy makers in Washington, DC.
Attendees will be able to select from a range of issues for their own advocacy efforts.
