Dr. Smith is a health policy and gerontology researcher currently serving as a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Department of Health Services, Policy, and Practice at the Brown University School of Public Health. Dr. Smith connects health service financing and regulatory mechanisms to Medicare claims at health service settings in order to identify and address inequities in access to quality long-term services and supports for older adults and their communities.
