Dr. Cotton is a social work scientist with substantive with a range of experiences in administration, research, evaluation, community practice, and teaching. He has served as a community planner, foundation program officer, manager of a behavioral health and substance clinic, an educator, consultant, and technical advisor. Dr. Cotton has specialized training in clinical trials, intervention science, and advanced qualitative research methods. He is a member of the Editorial Board of The Gerontologist. Dr. Cotton currently serves as the Robert L. Kane Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the School of Public Health at the University of Minnesota.
