Emily P. Morris (she/her) is a 5th year PhD Candidate in Clinical Science at the University of Michigan Department of Psychology. She is passionate about improving brain health equity, and her research focuses on identification of biopsychosocial pathways underlying racial and ethnic disparities in Alzheimer's disease and related dementias. As a trainee focused on clinical neuropsychology, she is clinically interested in working with older adults living with dementia, individuals living with HIV, and understanding contributions of medical and psychiatric comorbidities to cognitive health. She is currently funded by an NIA F31 predoctoral fellowship entitled "Multilevel Biopsychosocial Stress Mechanisms Underlying Racial Disparities in ADRD Risk." Emily hopes that her research helps identify targets for intervention at multiple levels to improve brain health equity and justice.
