Director of Centre for Economic Analysis - CenEA in Szczecin (PL). He completed his studies at the University of Oxford (1997, 1999) and received his Ph.D. degree at the University of Warsaw. After completing his habilitation at the School of Business and Economics of the Freie Universität Berlin he has been affiliated as Privatdozent at the University of Griefswald. He previously worked at the Institute for Fiscal Studies in London and DIW-Berlin. His work has been centred on modelling of labour market behaviour, the relationship between health and employment, and dynamics of well-being over the life course. In years 2005-2017 he was the Polish country team leader of the “SHARE 50+” project. He published in such journals as American Economic Journal – Economic Policy, Journal of Health Economics, Social Science and Medicine, and Labour Economics.
