Dr. Ennis is an Associate Professor and Vice Chair of the Department of Behavioral Sciences and Social Medicine at Florida State University (FSU) in the College of Medicine. She is Director of the intervention Research Advancing Care Equity Lab (iRACE) and she directs a statewide network with over 43,800 medical cannabis patients across the state of Florida that supports data-driven hypothesis generation, provides recruitment infrastructure, and is a dissemination platform for relevant findings in medical marijuana research. Her work uses new and emerging knowledge in dissemination and implementation science and community-engaged research to develop (Stage 0) and implement (Stage 5) maximally efficacious behavioral interventions for people living with chronic/life-limiting illness.
