Dr. Lendon is a Social Scientist at the National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS) since 2015. They support operations for the National Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Study (NPALS). Her research focuses on advance directives, end-of-life care, and access to services, primarily among users of adult day services centers and residential care communities. Dr. Lendon is experienced using large complex, longitudinal survey, and administrative data. Prior to joining NCHS, they conducted research on end-of-life care and caregiving at the Greater Los Angeles Veterans Health Administration and intergenerational relationships at the University of Southern California’s Davis School of Gerontology.
