Caitlin Reynolds is a PhD candidate at North Carolina State University studying Lifespan Development in the Psychology department. She is in the Adult Cognition and Emotion (ACE) Lab, working under Dr. Grühn. Her main research interests center around end-of-life, particularly how people perceive and respond to death-related events across the lifespan. This fascination initially emerged after volunteering at a hospice center, during her undergraduate career. The amount of care and support given to the patients, regardless of how close they were to death, was inspiring; thus, her long-term goal for research in psychology is to be an advocate for people in end-of-life.
