JOANN M. MONTEPARE, PhD, FGSA, FAGHE (Social-Developmental Psychology, Brandeis University), is Professor of Psychology and Director of the Rosemary B. Fuss Center for Research on Aging and Intergenerational Studies at Lasell University. Her research explores life-span issues with attention to age-related social attitudes and self-experiences of aging. She is an advocate of intergenerational teaching and learning and a champion of advancing age inclusivity in higher education through initiatives such as the Age-Friendly University (AFU) global network, She is the 2023 AGHE Chair, and chairs the GSA-AGHE Age Inclusivity in Higher Education (AIHE) Workgroup and serves as its Newsletter editor.
