Erin Ferguson is an epidemiology PhD student at the University of California, San Francisco mentored by Dr. Maria Glymour. She is interested in applying causal inference and econometric methods to studying risk factors for Alzheimer's disease and related dementias and the efficacy of subsequent clinical care. Additionally, her work primarily draws on real-world data from electronic health records to provide valid and timely evidence for care. Erin's career goal is to work as a translational epidemiologist, collaborating within epidemiology, neuropsychology, economics, bioinformatics, and neurology to broadly improve the clinical care of patients with dementia.
