Dr. Melike Kahya, PT, PhD is a Post-doctoral Research Fellow at the Hinda and Arthur Marcus Institute for Aging Research, Harvard Medical School. She completed her PhD in Rehabilitation Science program at the University of Kansas Medical Center. She received her bachelor’s degree from Istanbul University in Physical Therapy and her master’s from the University of Pittsburgh in Neuromuscular Physical Therapy. Her research interest is understanding neurophysiology of mobility and falls in aging and age-related neurodegenerative conditions.
