Rona J. Karasik, Ph.D., FAGHE, FGSA is the Editor in Chief of Gerontology & Geriatrics Education, the official journal of the Academy for Gerontology in Higher Education (AGHE). As a professor and director of the Gerontology Program at St. Cloud State University in St. Cloud, MN, Dr. Karasik teaches a wide range of courses including "Dementia", "Health & Aging", and "Ethics in Gerontology & Geriatrics". Dr. Karasik's current research interests focus on gerontological pedagogy, including internships, service-learning, classroom- and community-based activities, and incorporating anti-racist pedagogy into the gerontology and geriatrics curriculum. Dr. Karasik is also a co-author of "The Gerontology Field Placement: Internships and Practicum in Aging" (2023, Springer).
