Jamie M. Smith is a postdoctoral research fellow in the Health Services and Outcomes Research T32 program at Johns Hopkins University. Smith’s research is informed by nearly two decades as a registered nurse in clinical care, policy, and education. Her current work focuses on improving community-based care delivery for older adults with complex health and social needs. Smith earned her PhD at Rutgers University, School of Nursing, where she was a Jonas Nurse Scholar. Smith’s long-term goal is to develop a meaningful research program that informs equitable care delivery for older adults with complex needs to maintain their independence and quality of life.
