Lyndsey Miller, Ph.D., R.N. is Assistant Professor at the OHSU School of Nursing, and Research Investigator with the Oregon Center on Aging & Technology. Dr. Miller's research examines social and relationship factors that impact the autonomy of the person living with dementia, care-related strain in their family care partners, and the health and well-being of the care dyad. Dr. Miller joined OHSU in 2018 after completing an interdisciplinary post-doctoral fellowship at the University of Utah. In her current research projects with the Oregon Center for Aging & Technology, Dr. Miller is applying remote digital assessments of life engagement to more objectively and continuously evaluate behavioral interdependence in couples, functional decline as a dyadic concept, dementia caregiver stress, and dementia-related care needs.
