Salom Teshale joined NASHP’s Aging and Disability team in March 2020 and works on projects related to family caregiving and palliative care. Prior to joining NASHP, Salom was a postdoctoral fellow at the Administration for Community Living in the US Department of Health and Human Services and the University of Washington School of Medicine, where she conducted research on topics related to aging and well-being in adults aging with long-term disability, and a Health and Aging Policy Fellow. She holds a PhD from Brandeis University in social/developmental psychology, and a BA in psychology from the University of Chicago.
