Judy Foxworth, PT, PhD, Board Orthopedic Certified Specialist has over 35 years of clinical experience as a physical therapist. She is also the Director of the Human Performance and Biodynamics Laboratory where she conducts biomechanical studies of non-pharmacological interventions to decrease hip and knee pain in those with lower extremity osteoarthritis. She is Director of Doctorate of Physical Therapy program at Winston-Salem State University and in that capacity directly works with students engaged in research investigating the complex issues surrounding those who are medically underserved. She is delighted to part of a team of researchers investigating physical activity in the medically underserved.
