Takeshi Nakagawa works as a senior research fellow at National Center for Geriatrics and Gerontology, Japan, since 2020. His expertise is lifespan developmental psychology, and his research interests include subjective well-being in old age and psychosocial factors promoting healthy aging. Dr. Nakagawa received Ph.D. in human sciences from Osaka University in 2015, followed by a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Zurich, Switzerland, and at National Center for Geriatrics and Gerontology. He has been engaging in several longitudinal studies, and his recent works are published in Social Science & Medicine and the Journals of Gerontology Series B: Psychological and Social Sciences. He is currently launching a dyadic longitudinal study of older care recipients and their caregivers.
