He joined the Department of Palliative Medicine at the University of Maryland School of Medicine in 2022 and has been working in, and exploring Baltimore ever since. His academic interests include teaching and the palliative care needs of underserved communities, especially those of the LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC communities.
