Dr. Marcia Mecca is an Associate Professor at Yale School of Medicine. She is the medical director of the West Haven VA Geriatric Medicine Consult Service and the Initiative to Minimize Pharmaceutical Risk in Older Veterans (IMPROVe). She is co-director of the Patient Priorities Care Telementoring Curriculum and the site investigator for a multisite trial of Patient Priorities Care in VA primary care. Her interests are in deprescribing, interprofessional deprescribing education, and patient-aligned decision making.
