Caroline Madrigal is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Center of Innovations in Long-Term Services and Supports at the Providence VA Medical Center and a Delivery System Science Fellow through Academy Health. Her research focuses on the implementation of person-centered, evidence-based approaches to improve the quality of care provided to nursing home residents, especially Veterans. Caroline has worked both as a direct care provider and nurse supervisor in nursing homes. She uses her clinical experiences to guide her program of research with realistic expectations for change and a passion to improve residents’ care experiences.
