Megan Mullins, PhD, MPH is an assistant professor at the Peter O’Donnell Jr. School of Public Health and Harold C. Simmons Comprehensive Cancer Center at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. Dr. Mullins’ research program focuses on improving the quality and equity of cancer care. She has particular interest in improving cancer care for sexual and gender minority patients and improving delivery of goal concordant care near the end of life. She uses mixed-methods research approaches to inform the implementation of evidence-based interventions. She is currently a Texas Health Resources Endowed Clinical Scholar leading work to ascertain drivers of low-value end-of-life care and identify opportunities for earlier goals of care conversations in the cancer care trajectory.
