Dr. Lisa Borrero is Associate Professor in Health and Aging Studies at the University of Indianapolis. She has taught for over ten years in the areas of gerontology and health promotion, over half of which have been in an exclusively online environment. She teaches courses such as Qualitative Research Methods and Analysis, A Focus on Women and Aging, Psychology of Aging, and Development and Evaluation of Health Programs. Her scholarly interests include the qualitative exploration of self-concept among older women, the intersection of intergenerational learning and ageism, and gerontology education.
