Bailee Brekke is a current master’s student at Miami University in Oxford, OH, earning her degree in gerontological studies. She previously graduated from Dartmouth College, where she double majored in psychology and economics. Brekke currently holds a graduate assistantship at Miami, helping conduct research in the Scripps Gerontology Center. Her research interests surround people living with dementia and their care partners and her most recent work has been examining various state-level initiatives implemented to combat the current direct care workforce crisis. This past summer, she had the fortunate opportunity to work as one of the GSA summer policy interns in Washington DC.
