Kate has provided consultation on health and aging policy strategy at the global, national, state and local level for over 20 years. She is a consultant for NIH-funded R01 research programs focused on dementia caregiver interventions and persons who live alone with dementia and teaches health policy strategy at UCSF and the University of Maryland Baltimore County. From 2005 - 2023, she was a health policy analyst for the Administration for Community Living where she managed a portfolio of federal grants focused on the delivery of dementia-capable and evidence-based practices, including dementia-friendly communities through the National Alzheimer’s and Dementia Resource Center.
