Matthew Picchiello is a graduate student in Brian Carpenter’s Clinical Geropsychology Lab. His primary research interests focus on ways that older adults learn about and live with a dementia diagnosis, and ways to enhance undergraduate students' interest in aging. Prior to coming to Washington University in St. Louis, Matt received a B.A. in Psychology from Loyola University Maryland in 2018 and worked for one year as a research assistant at Johns Hopkins University.
