Laura is a policy associate at Matz, Blancato, and Associates and provides policy analysis and advocacy support for Defeat Malnutrition Today, the Elder Justice Coalition, and the National Association of Nutrition and Aging Services Programs. She has worked for almost a decade in nutrition, in clinical nutrition as a Registered Dietitian, in nutrition research, and in nutrition policy. She is a Registered Dietitian and holds a Master of Science in Nutritional Sciences from University of Wisconsin-Madison and Bachelor of Science in Dietetics and German from Univesity of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.
